Can I put my purchase on layaway? How long can I layaway my purchase?

Yes, we offer layaway in-store only. As a modern old-fashion trader who serves the Navajo and Native community, we offer traditional layaway for in-store purchases so locals can get the same great options that helped make us who we are! One more reason why we are the best place to buy Navajo and Native American jewelry in Gallup, NM!

Once your purchase is on layaway, you will have 6 months to redeem your layaway. After 6 months, your items will be put back into our sellable inventory.

How much do I have to put down for Layaway?

To layaway a purchase in-store, 10% down of your total purchase price must be made. In order to put a purchase on layaway, your total purchase price must be over $50. 

We allow layaway for 6 months and 10% down is required to begin your layaway purchase. For layaway purchases over $5,000, we do consider longer terms. Ask us about details!

What happens if I cancel my layaway?

You may cancel your layaway at anytime but there will be 10% restocking fee on your total layaway amount. Any amount paid over your initial 10% down will be refunded as in-store credit only.

How do you support Native American artist?

Ellis is always been massive advocate for Natives Americans, especially the Navajo who make Gallup thrive. In fact, he is constantly a voice in Gallup community who reminds officials how vital Native Americans are to the Gallup economy.

Yes, we have traditional items. We've debated about listing these on our site. As a long time supporter to the Navajo people and other tribes around Gallup, we carry several items such as Tádídíín, Mountain Smoke, First Laugh Salt, and much more! But Ellis Tanner respects the traditional ways and why we have not listed the items since we want to make sure they are properly used by those they are intended for.
